Harit Sansar is a people-led plantation and environmental mission founded by Rajeev Singh to help create a greener, healthier and more climate-resilient India.
The mission brings together farmers, students, youth, women’s groups, institutions, volunteers, local communities and organisations to plant, protect and nurture trees. It is built on the belief that every tree is a long-term investment in clean air, healthy soil, water security, biodiversity and future generations.

Our Plantation Approach
Harit Sansar follows a practical and responsible plantation model designed for long-term survival and ecological value.
1. Site Assessment
Every plantation site is assessed for soil condition, climate, space, water availability, local ecology and long-term maintenance potential.
2. Right Species Selection
We encourage native, fruit-bearing, medicinal and climate-resilient tree species that are suitable for the local environment and beneficial for biodiversity.
3. Scientific Plantation Preparation
Plantation includes appropriate pit preparation, organic soil enrichment, spacing, seasonal planning and water-management considerations.
4. Community Participation
Students, farmers, volunteers, women’s groups, schools, institutions and local residents are involved to build ownership and responsibility.
5. Protection and Monitoring
Plantation is followed by watering, mulching, fencing where required, protection from grazing and regular survival monitoring.
Our goal is not only to count saplings planted, but to help trees survive and grow.
