Vision for India

Vision for India

A Greener, Healthier and Self-Reliant Bharat

India’s future will be shaped by the choices we make for its soil, water, forests, farms and communities.

Rajeev Singh envisions an India where sustainable development is not treated as a separate agenda, but becomes part of everyday life—on farms, in schools, in villages, in cities, in institutions and in public decision-making.

His vision brings together environmental restoration, science-led agriculture, indigenous knowledge, rural entrepreneurship and community participation to build a stronger and more climate-resilient nation.

The India We Must Build

A prosperous India must have:

  • Living and fertile soil
  • Productive, profitable and climate-resilient farmers
  • Clean water and restored water bodies
  • Increased green cover and protected biodiversity
  • Research that reaches farmers and communities
  • Respect for indigenous knowledge and cultural heritage
  • Skilled youth and stronger rural livelihoods
  • Citizens who see environmental protection as a shared duty

Development and nature must move forward together. Economic growth has lasting meaning only when it protects the natural resources on which people depend.

Living Soil, Stronger Farmers

Healthy soil is India’s most important agricultural asset.

The Living Soil Mission promotes microbial farming, bio-input innovation, soil testing, crop-specific solutions and farmer education. The objective is to support agriculture that improves productivity while protecting soil biology, reducing unnecessary chemical dependence and strengthening long-term farm resilience.

Through scientific research, field demonstrations and farmer training, Rajeev Singh aims to help create farming systems where every field remains productive, every farmer receives practical knowledge and every village can build agricultural prosperity.

हर घर हरियाली: A Greener India

Tree plantation must become a national habit, not an occasional event.

Through Harit Sansar, Rajeev Singh promotes a people-led movement for native tree plantation, fruit orchards, agroforestry, biodiversity conservation, community forests and green public spaces.

The vision is to encourage every family, school, village, institution and organisation to plant, protect and nurture trees.

A greener India means cleaner air, protected soil, better water security, stronger biodiversity and healthier communities.

Water Security for Every Community

Water is central to food, health, biodiversity and rural development.

Rajeev Singh’s vision supports the restoration of ponds, lakes, wetlands and local water bodies through ecological approaches, plantation, watershed awareness and community participation.

Every village should protect its traditional water resources. Every development project should respect groundwater, local ecology and future climate needs.

Indigenous Knowledge and Cultural Strength

India’s traditional knowledge systems carry generations of experience with forests, plants, food, soil and community life.

Through Hodopathy, Rajeev Singh supports the ethical preservation and documentation of indigenous knowledge, medicinal plants, traditional foods and Adivasi cultural heritage.

This work is guided by respect for knowledge holders, conservation of biodiversity, responsible research and community benefit. India’s future should be shaped not only by modern innovation, but also by the wisdom that communities have protected for generations.

Research That Reaches the Field

Science must reach the farmer, the student, the entrepreneur and the community.

Through SIART, Rajeev Singh promotes research, training, innovation and technology transfer in microbial farming, soil health, natural farming, bio-inputs, climate-smart agriculture and rural entrepreneurship.

The goal is to bridge the distance between laboratory research and field-level impact.

From laboratory to field. From knowledge to prosperity.

Youth, Women and Rural Opportunity

India’s rural future depends on its people.

Rajeev Singh believes that youth, women’s groups, farmers and local entrepreneurs should be active partners in environmental and agricultural development. Training, skills, practical knowledge and entrepreneurship can create opportunities while strengthening villages and local economies.

A strong India is built when rural communities have dignity, knowledge, livelihoods and a voice in protecting their natural resources.

Vision 2040

By 2040, Rajeev Singh’s vision is to contribute to an India where:

  • Every farmer works with healthier, living soil.
  • Every village protects its water and grows its green cover.
  • Every school teaches environmental responsibility.
  • Every community values biodiversity and indigenous knowledge.
  • Every young person sees green development as an opportunity.
  • Every institution supports research, innovation and public participation.
  • India becomes a global example of regenerative agriculture, ecological restoration and inclusive rural development.

A Call for Collective Action

This vision cannot be achieved by one person or one organisation. It requires a shared national effort.

Farmers, students, researchers, universities, government institutions, businesses, civil-society organisations and citizens all have a role to play.

Together, we can restore living soil, protect water, grow forests, preserve knowledge and create a greener, healthier and more prosperous Bharat.
