A Proud Institutional Moment for Sansar Green

The invitation represented more than ceremonial participation.

For Sansar Green, it was an opportunity to engage with academic leadership, faculty members and technical experts on how practical industry experience can complement university research, education and innovation.

The occasion also reinforced Sansar Green’s broader vision of creating stronger connections between scientific knowledge, entrepreneurship, technology and grassroots development.

Mr. Singh emphasised that institutions of higher education can play a major role in accelerating regional development when academic expertise is connected with real-world challenges faced by farmers, entrepreneurs, students and local communities.

Discussion with the Agriculture Department Team

During the university visit, Mr. Rajeev Singh held a detailed interaction with the Agriculture Department team and faculty members.

The discussion focused on possible areas of cooperation in agriculture, research, farmer outreach and knowledge transfer.

Key subjects included:

  • Soil health and soil regeneration
  • Biological and microbial-based agricultural solutions
  • Sustainable and natural farming practices
  • Farmer training and capacity building
  • Agricultural entrepreneurship
  • Skill development for agriculture students
  • Field demonstrations and practical learning
  • Research-to-farm knowledge transfer
  • Technology adoption among farmers
  • Opportunities for collaboration with farmers in Giridih and other regions

A central theme of the discussion was the need to make scientific research more accessible and useful at the field level.

Mr. Singh highlighted that many valuable innovations remain limited to institutions unless there is a structured mechanism to take them to farmers.

He said:

“The real value of agricultural research increases when scientific knowledge reaches the field and begins solving the practical problems of farmers.”

The interaction also explored the possibility of creating stronger knowledge linkages between the university’s agricultural experts and farming communities in Giridih district.

Taking University Expertise Closer to Farmers

Sansar Green discussed how university expertise could potentially support farmers through technical interaction, expert guidance, training programmes and practical knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The aim would be to connect farmers with updated agricultural knowledge in areas such as soil health, crop management, biological inputs, sustainable cultivation and agri-entrepreneurship.

Mr. Singh emphasised that farmer development requires more than access to products.

Farmers increasingly need access to scientists, technical experts, training, field demonstrations and reliable knowledge.

He stated:

“Our effort is to build stronger bridges between agricultural institutions and farmers so that scientific expertise becomes part of everyday farming decisions.”

Interaction with the Engineering Team

Another important part of the visit was Mr. Rajeev Singh’s discussion with the Engineering Department team and technical faculty members.

The interaction explored how engineering, technology and innovation can contribute to agriculture, rural development and entrepreneurship.

The discussion included areas such as:

  • Agricultural mechanisation
  • Low-cost farm technologies
  • Automation and smart agriculture
  • Digital agriculture solutions
  • Artificial Intelligence and data-driven advisory systems
  • Soil and environmental monitoring technologies
  • Equipment development for small and marginal farmers
  • Renewable and sustainable technologies
  • Rural innovation
  • Student-led technology projects
  • Industry-linked innovation and entrepreneurship

Mr. Singh highlighted that the future of agriculture will increasingly depend on collaboration between agricultural scientists and engineers.

Modern farming requires solutions that combine biology, engineering, digital technology, automation and data.

Agriculture and Engineering Must Work Together

One of the key ideas emerging from the interaction was that many agricultural challenges cannot be solved by one discipline alone.

For example, soil health may require biological expertise, while monitoring and diagnosis may require sensors, data systems and engineering solutions.

Similarly, farm productivity can improve through a combination of better agronomy, improved machinery, automation and digital decision-support tools.

Sansar Green believes that interdisciplinary collaboration between Agriculture and Engineering departments can create practical innovations suited to Indian farming conditions.

This is especially important for small and marginal farmers who need technologies that are affordable, simple to operate and adapted to local conditions.

Opportunities for Students and Young Innovators

The discussions also touched upon the role of students in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Mr. Rajeev Singh encouraged the idea of involving agriculture and engineering students in solving real-world problems through field projects, startup ideas and practical innovation.

Students can play an important role in developing new solutions in areas such as:

  • Farm mechanisation
  • Soil testing
  • Smart irrigation
  • Crop monitoring
  • Biological agriculture
  • Post-harvest management
  • Waste-to-value technologies
  • Rural entrepreneurship
  • Digital advisory platforms

Industry interaction can help students understand market requirements and practical challenges, while universities provide them with research infrastructure, faculty guidance and technical knowledge.

Building a University–Industry–Farmer Ecosystem

Sansar Green strongly believes that the future of agricultural innovation lies in creating an ecosystem where universities, industry and farmers work together.

Universities bring research, scientific knowledge and young talent.

Industry brings implementation experience, market understanding and scalability.

Farmers bring the most important element — real-world problems, field experience and practical feedback.

When these three groups collaborate effectively, research can move beyond laboratories and classrooms and create measurable impact in villages and farming communities.

A Platform for Future Collaboration

Mr. Rajeev Singh’s participation in the First Convocation therefore became much more than an honorary institutional engagement.

It provided an opportunity to explore future collaboration across:

Agriculture • Engineering • Research • Technology • Farmer Training • Student Innovation • Entrepreneurship • Rural Development

For Sansar Green, these interactions are aligned with the company’s long-term goal of connecting scientific knowledge and modern technology with practical agricultural challenges.

Gratitude to the University Leadership

Sansar Green expresses its sincere gratitude to Chancellor Shri Dinesh Prasad Singh, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) M. K. Singh and the entire Babu Dinesh Singh University family for the warm welcome, recognition and opportunity to participate in this historic First Convocation.

Sansar Green also congratulates all students who received their degrees during the ceremony and wishes them success in their future academic, professional and entrepreneurial journeys.

From Campus Knowledge to Grassroots Impact

The visit reinforced an important idea:

Knowledge becomes more powerful when it moves beyond institutions and creates impact in society.

Sansar Green remains committed to supporting meaningful collaboration between universities, researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs and farmers.

The objective is clear — to transform research into practical solutions, technology into accessibility, and collaboration into measurable impact.

Knowledge to field.
Technology to farmers.
Innovation to enterprise.
Collaboration to impact.
